On behalf of the Lambton Kent and St. Clair Catholic District School Boards, CLASS has worked with the independent child care providers who operate in school facilities, the regional Public Health Units and Municipal Child Care Service Managers to support the safe re-opening process and to ensure school facility readiness and student safety. We continue to focus on ensuring all providers located in schools, follow the Ministry of Educations, Operational Guidance During COVID-19 Outbreak Guidelines understanding that, the Local Medical Officers have the authority to adjust some legislative procedures.
The Ministry of Education has also released Policies and Guidelines pertaining to Before and After School Kindergarten to Grade 6. CLASS will continue to work closely with our Boards to collaborate with both Child Care Providers and key Board staff to ensure safety of all children and staff in the programs.
Parents / Guardians who are interested in child care services / before & after school programs for their child/children, should contact their local provider. For a complete list and contact information for all providers in our school boards, click here.
Now that schools are open and the province continues to open services to families, CLASS will continue to work with the boards as they welcome their EarlyON partners back to their facilities. The Ministry of Education has set out Operational Guidelines for all EarlyON programs as they reintroduce in person operations. Parents / Guardians who are interested in EarlyON services for their child/children please click on EarlyON and select your community.
