Special Events

Looking for the perfect space for your community-based event? School facilities can be rented for a wide range of community-based activities and programs that help build strong and healthy communities through arts, education, cultural heritage, sports, and recreation.

Community-Based Special Events

Community-based events are open to the public and often promoted through media or social media. Examples include charitable fundraisers, (outdoor walks/runs, vendor markets etc.), cultural celebrations, dance recitals, conferences, film screenings, symphony performances and provincial sports competitions. School spaces suitable for these events include gyms, cafeterias, outdoor fields, and large auditoriums.

The Lambton Kent District School Board and St. Clair Catholic District School Board do not rent space for private events, such as birthday parties, team parties, family reunions, receptions, funerals, memorials, anniversaries, or corporate gatherings. CLASS reserves the right to classify rentals and may refuse or cancel bookings if necessary.
