Today's School Bus Safety Week message is about Community Safety Zones. These areas - typically surrounding schools, daycare centres and parks - are designated stretches of roadway where safety is the highest priority. They are recognized under provincial legislation and marked by community safety zone signs. The classification of these zones is a way to protect vulnerable road users that frequent these areas.

Being aware of Community Safety Zones in your area allows you to contribute to the safety of your community!
