Today we are talking about Community Safety Zones. These areas - typically surrounding schools, daycare centres and parks - are designated stretches of roadway where safety is the highest priority. They are recognized under provincial legislation and marked by community safety zone signs. These posted signs indicate speed limits are reduced in these areas. CLASS along with CKXS is happy to announce the Grand Prize Winner of their 'Hail to the Bus Driver' Contest!

A big congratulations to Keith, who drives the Mailbox 📫 bus for First Student's Chatham branch. Keith gets to attend an upcoming Sarnia Sting game in a luxury box, a prize generously donated by Progressive Ford in Wallaceburg. Keith was nominated by a parent from Indian Creek Road Public School, noting he is friendly and an exceptional driver.

Thank you to everyone that put their drivers' name forward throughout the campaign - it was great to have so many nominations come in.
