Chatham-Kent Lambton Administrative School Services is celebrating
- National School Bus Safety Week October 17-21, 2016 and;
- Bus Driver Appreciation Day October 19, 2016.
National School Bus Safety Week is a public education program that is an excellent way for parents, students, teachers, motorists, school administrators, and other interested parties to join forces and address the importance of school bus safety. Designed to promote school bus safety, School Boards, Bus Operators and Student Transportation Consortia throughout North America have been observing a School Bus Safety Week during the third week in October annually; October 17-21 for 2016.
As part of School Bus Safety Week 2016 CLASS has partnered with Blackburn Radio and will be airing school bus safety public service announcements on local radio stations 94.3 CKSY and 99.9 CFGX.
During this important safety week we also take the time to acknowledge our dedicated, professional school bus drivers by honoring them with their own day. School Bus Driver Appreciation Day this year occurs on Wednesday, October 22, 2014. Please join CLASS by thanking your school bus driver on this day for all of their hard work and dedication to ensuring that our children arrive to and from school safely EVERY day.
