For the Lambton Kent District School Board, congratulations goes to Merlin Area Public School and Errol Village Public School (Camlachie) for the following achievements:
- First Certified Elementary EcoSchools in LKDSB
- Achieving “Silver” in the first year for both schools
Our secondary schools were not left out either, as Great Lakes Secondary School (Sarnia) and Tilbury District High School both achieved “Bronze” EcoSchool Certification in their first year. Alexander McKenzie Secondary School (Sarnia) and North Lambton Secondary School (Forest) both scored their re-certification:
- Alexander McKenzie achieved “Silver” in re-certification.
- North Lambton achieved “Gold” in re-certification.
Those postings can be found on the map here, on the EcoSchools site.
Students, staff and the wider community at each school should be commended for how hard they worked to achieve these Eco-goals. CLASS is a proud supporter of these initiatives and is very happy to see schools from both our member boards go green! Congratulations again!
